Sissy

The horse that started it all and the one that fueled the fire to pursue this ranch. Sissy has been Morgan's main mount for the past 9 years, where they barrel raced and explored different events in the equine world. Even though she is retired from barrel racing, she still teaches the advanced riders what a real barrel horse will feel like.
Momma
Registered name: OSU PEPPYS SLIDN SAN
Born in 1997
Our go-to horse for all beginners. Bred and foaled by OSU, she has the temperament and personality of a saint.
Chrome
Registered Name: CHROME BLUE GENES
Born: 2010
As a "reject" cutting horse, Chrome brings an advanced level of understanding of how a horse moves each individual body part. With all of the bells and whistles, this boy can and will take anyone anywhere they want to go.
JJ
Registered Name: MS JAZZY CHAIRMAN
Born: 2009
A beautiful liver chestnut mare is the only way to describe this girl... the fire, tenacity, and heart this mare has cannot be described. For our most advanced students, this girl can spin a hole to China while giving you a little bit of heck on the way down.
Shooter
Registered Name: PISTOLS LIL SHOOTERÂ
Born: 2004
A mother's heart and a body to rock the cow pen. Throw a 3-year-old child on her and she's got it all covered... but start working cows on her and she'll leave you in the dirt if you aren't sitting correctly. A favorite is an understatement for this beaut.
Goose
The goofiest Thoroughbred you will ever see. A sweet and loving dude when things are calm and when his main horse lady, Momma, is there with him. Still in rehab from EPM, he is a wonderful testament to what love and dedication can do for an animal.
Juno
Registered Name: TUTUS METALIC PISTOL
Born: 2019
A survivor from the start... Juno was born to our very own Shooter in the middle of the night. The next morning, something wasn't right, and we took her to the vet. We found she was on the verge of a full-body infection and immediately started doing a plasma transfusion. However, these days you'll find her annoying everyone in the herd and making her way into the barn to get into trouble. Nothing is holding her back nowadays and she's adamant to be in the center of it all.
Franny
Registered Name: BLUES SMOKIN DIVA
Born: 2019
A beautiful two-year-old blue roan on her way to being the future mount of Rocking Arrow's owners and students. Bred and raised right here in Northwest Arkansas, we are so excited to see where this girl can take us!
The Boys
Straight-up trouble makers... Butters (the leader), Hans (second in command), Roy (the sweet boy that wants no part of the trouble) and Bo Patrick (the newby on the block that gets hazed).

Not much to say about them except... we don't know what to do with them BUT we wouldn't know what to do without them. Could potentially find them directing traffic on Hwy 170 or trying to headbutt one of the horses...
Beans
The only barn cat that has dedicated her life to us and not ran off... she's friendly and sweet but one mean mouser. Thanks, Beans, for keeping the barn safe from little critters.
The Donks
Born: 2019
Two of the cutest mini donkeys you'll ever see... Thelma and Weezy came to the ranch in the fall of 2020. Weary when you're standing, but sit on the ground and they're laying on top of you. Got Snacks? better get them out quickly or they'll be digging through those pockets. Smarter than they look.
The Cattle
Moolissa- the OG, the puppy, and the wrecking ball, Black Angus, momma to Chewy.

Chewy- Black Angus cross, the baby of Moolissa. Born on May 4th.. so naturally, we had to name her after a Star Wars character... Chewbacca

Petunia- LongHorn, momma of Luna.
Luna Moo- Long Horn Angus cross, the baby of Petunia, named after Luna LoveGood in Harry Potter.
Josey Jo- Black Angus cross, next in line for 2021 breeding season.

Martha May- Black Angus cross, born in 2020 and had a rough start to life like everyone else during that time. Thankfully she's thriving and doing well in the herd.
